Telemedicine Visits

Care That Fits Your Schedule

Telemedicine offers the convenience of meeting with a physician to go over your labs, medications, diet, and goals. You can see the doctor from home, work, or wherever is convenient, giving you the flexibility to fit care into your schedule.

  • What can be done by telemedicine?

Initial consultations, lab result reviews, and treatment progress check-ins. The STYKU 3D body scan and vital signs are done in our office only.

  • Can I start as a new patient by telemedicine?

Yes. New patients can establish care virtually and continue to be seen regularly through telemedicine. If your care plan includes a STYKU 3D body scan or vital signs, those are completed during a brief in-office visit.

  • What do I need?

A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a private, quiet space. You’ll receive a secure link to join your visit before your appointment.

  • Is it secure and private?

Yes. Visits take place on a HIPAA-compliant video platform, not a standard video-chat app.

  • Do I need to be in California?

Yes. Because our providers are licensed in California, you must be physically located in California at the time of your visit.

  • Can I get prescriptions through telemedicine?

Yes. Medications are mailed directly to your home address. Some treatments may require periodic in-person visits, lab work, or monitoring, depending on the medication and state and federal regulations. Your provider will let you know what applies to your care.

  • What if something comes up that needs an exam?

If your provider determines you need to be seen in person, we’ll schedule you promptly.

  • Is the cost different from an office visit?

In most cases, telemedicine visits are the same cost as in-office visits. Our staff will confirm your cost when you schedule, so there are no surprises.

  • Are visits available in Spanish?

Yes. Telemedicine visits are available in English and Spanish.
